Baiana fans are being advised to buy tickets for their shows well in advance after their last two gigs sold out.

Recent “It’s the Rio Thing” shows in Liverpool and London, which feature the band playing alongside pianist Kenny Clayton, saw all tickets sold and management being persuaded to permit some extra “standing room only” sales before reluctantly having to turn people away who had hoped to pay on the door.

Baiana next play at Liverpool’s Phase One venue on 40 Seel Street on July 9th before heading up to the Edinburgh Jazz festival to reunite with Kenny Clayton on July 17-18th at the Black Ivy Club.
