Baiana have signed up with one of Britain’s top management companies.

Neil O’Brien Entertainment, which also looks after stars such as Dionne Warwick, UB40, Jason Donovan and (Baiana’s inspiration) Sergio Mendes, will now promote the band and is putting plans in place for a series of gigs once the Covid 19 crisis is over.

Neil moved personally to snap up the band after watching them perform at a pre-lockdown gig at London’s Pizza Express Live venue.

He said: “We think this Latin-infused quartet, fronted by the wonderful Laura Doyle, are destined for great things.”

Baiana singer Laura said: “We are thrilled to be joining forces with such a prestigious agency. Behind the scenes, Neil is known as a showbiz star who makes dreams come true.

“Also, when we realised that Neil also represents our hero Sergio Mendes it felt like the gods were steering us in the right direction. We can’t wait until it’s safe to start gigging again, we are raring to go.”
